Line of Judah (2025)

The line of Judah draws inspiration from the genealogy presented in Matthew Chapter 1. Jacob, the father of Judah, blesses all of his children before his death. In Judah's blessing, he is promised a royal lineage of kings that will culminate with the ultimate king—Jesus. Matthew meticulously lays out the entire line of Judah, revealing that Jesus is the fulfillment of Jacob's blessing to Judah. In Line of Judah, players will assume the role of historians tasked with reconstructing Jesus' lineage. As players uncover new members of Judah's lineage, they must decide whether to incorporate them into their own line or place them in their family tree for others to acquire. Once a member has been added to a player's family line, it cannot be removed. The game concludes after all family members have been discovered, and the player with the longest complete section of the line of Judah is the winner. —description from the designer
