As all worthy corporate legionnaires, you thirst only for total victory. In Cubicus Rex, victory is achieved with the highest of office perks: promotions. You’ll partner with fellow legionnaires to complete milestones and projects – the steps toward the higher rank you crave – through fast-paced yet strategic rounds of play. Choose your legion with your performance reviews, then wage war with staplers, sundials, whiteboards, and more in the quest for promotion. But take heed: your compatriots in one battle may become your foe in the next! Manage your hand wisely and stay vigilant as you build chains of cards to earn your promotions. Every card you play has another action in store – which can turn the tide of battle. Players pair up to complete project chains. The object is to be the first player to complete enough projects to be promoted 3 times. Finish your milestones. Complete your projects. Get promoted three times, and you will be crowned CUBICUS REX.
