Welcome to Goreton! OneDice: Bit Odd, Innit? is a tabletop roleplaying game set in the old English village of Goreton. It uses the OneDice system, a set of quick and flexible TTRPG rules by Cakebread & Walton. The rules are included in the book along with numerous adventure seeds and a full adventure, ‘Old Joe Crow’. Goreton is a peculiar English village where strange things happen! Players get to play as Teen Adventurers, navigating the mundane difficulties of being teenagers living in the remote English countryside, along with trying to make sense of the many odd events occurring in their village. There are folkloric terrors and cosmic Lovecraftian entities all threatening to overrun and destroy Goreton. Sinister occult rituals occur atop Gore Tor. The local Scientific Research Station is undoubtedly conducting many dangerous projects and hiding and storing who knows what? Many of the eccentric villagers seem to hold secrets and follow unsettling agendas of their own. And then there’s homework that needs finishing by Monday! These strange happenings should terrorize both our teen heroes and any outsiders to the village, but the more jaded long-term residents of Goreton usually just sit in the local pub, sup their pints, shrug their shoulders, and say, ‘Bit Odd, Innit?’
