Each player has a tourist and a party of 3 guides and 7 shooters. There is also a poacher and a stage coach for each player. The goal of the game is for the tourists to reach one of two summits in enemy territory. The task of the party is to help their own tourist and prevent the opponent tourist to reach his goal. The different game pieces have different methods to move or to take prisoners: Tourist: move and take: 1 step in any direction. If the Tourist is threatened, he may take the place of one of his guides or shooters 1 step away from him. The guide or shooter is eliminated from the game. Guide: moves 1 or 2 steps in any direction, takes 1 step from mountain to valley or vice-versa. Shooter: moves 1 step in any direction, takes 1 step from mountain to valley. Poacher: moves 2 or 3 steps in any direction, may take only 1 shooter (per game!) 1 step in any direction, may ot use the coach. Stage Coach: moves up to 3 steps on the red roads and takes all enemy pieces on the way if they are not standing directly behind each other. May transport friendly pieces up to 2 steps. —user summary
