Chaos Chess (2001)

This is a set of 80 cards that change all the rules of chess. The cards range from permanent changes to "instants" to durational cards. It adds an element of luck to a game that never had any. However, most the cards are not over-powerful and your knowledge of chess will help you quite a bit. The game is still Chess at its core. Each card has its own art and flavor text, both of which are very well done. You will probably want some extra tokens beyond the initial 8 that are supplied. You will use tokens a lot in this game.
