Suddenly the rumour is all over Mars: gold has been found in the Trans-Polodaari hills at the sources of the Maariti creek, northeast of the city-state of Polodaar. Adventurous individuals journey to that area to make their fortunes, turning it into an ill-administered and turbulent place for about five years (after which the gold is depleted). This is the background for some adventures involving the PCs’ attempts to strike it rich in a lawless land.
