Since the eight legendary dragons freed the kingdoms of Sinistra and Dextra from darkness, their descendants have watched over the two realms. In gratitude, the villagers help the dragons expand their lairs – chamber by chamber, filled with gold, sparkling crystals, and mysterious treasures. Now the time has come: on Dragon Rock, new life stirs – hatchlings are about to emerge, and they will need space. In 8 Dragons you play a mighty dragon: you soar across the kingdoms, trigger actions, and expand your lair – always on the hunt for gold. But you do not fly alone: the young dragons have hatched. They join your swarm – both your own hatchlings and those of the other dragons. On your turn, you choose your own action as well as those of the young dragons in your swarm. Call upon the villagers for help: they may support you in expanding your lair or grant you lucrative quests. You gather gold and precious treasures, and use them to gain even more gold.
