Part of a series of card decks released during the 1967's Centennial celebrations of Canada's Confederation. The cards are bilingual and contain trivia about various modes of transportation used in Canada from First Contact to the mid-20th century. This is primarily a trivia game, with quaint illustrations and quick facts for children and teens to learn. There are no formal rules for using these cards as a trivia game.
As with other games in this series (such as Know Canada's Heroes) this deck also includes rules to use the deck for other card games. This deck includes two rules cards to play Rummy and Triplets. The proposed Rummy is the classic 2 to 4 players version of the card game. The rules for Triplets describe a simplified 2 to 4 player version of a game most often called Indian Rummy or Pablu. In this version of Rummy, sets of three provide more points than in classic version.
