Wordsworth (1975)

A 2-player word game using the same mechanics as Mastermind. The Wordmaker (player 1) creates a word at the top of the board and hides it with a screen. The Wordbreaker (player 2) tries to guess the word by placing Yellow pegs in the board to indicate the letter and its position in the word. The Wordmaker than replaces the Yellow pegs with Black or White Pegs to indicate if the correct letter comes before or after the guessed letter. If the letter is guessed correctly, the Yellow peg stays on the board. Points are scored for the number of tries it takes to guess the word. The player with the lowest total score of all rounds wins.
