Having helped Dorbin gather the items he'll need to find his missing friends, the adventurers now must help him one last time. Traveling with Dorbin to the secretive nation of Caernum, they must make their way through a warped city and through a hostile Reynian invasion to the location where the gnome wizard Foltun has prepared the ritual. But when the ritual is completed, what will they find waiting forthem on the other side of the portal?
