By the Gods is a game aid and system for playing deities of a variety of power and influence levels in settings appropriate to myth and legend. The orientation of the system is toward minor deities, demigods, and even epic heroes. The product is intended as a component of To Challenge Tomorrow and uses the basic rules from that system.
The 1993 Edition of the product includes the revised material from the earlier version as well as the revised pantheon materials. Revisions make the product compatible with To Challenge Tomorrow (4th Edition).
