From the introduction: After slipping past the eldritch horror, Chiq’ta-Bana’thuul, you dive into the depths of the tunnel beneath the Lurker’s Lagoon, finding yourselves in an underwater passage lit by strange, bioluminescent corals. The water is dense and strangely still, muffling every sound except for the thrum of some ancient magic echoing through the stone. The tunnel twists in improbable ways, making it disorienting as you swim through sections that narrow to claustrophobic squeezes before opening again. At last, just as your lungs begin to burn from holding your breath, you emerge from the tunnel and find yourselves in an awe-inspiring cavern—a vast, shimmering expanse that defies the laws of nature. The Lost City sprawls before you, a hauntingly beautiful remnant of a once-great civilization, with grand towers and arching bridges crafted from opalescent. Ethereal blue and green lights cast shifting shadows, giving the city an otherworldly glow as if caught in a perpetual twilight.
