What’s scarier than Halloween for dentists? The appointments during the month of November! To keep things interesting, you and a fellow dentist have a friendly rivalry every year after Halloween. Who can put up the best defense against all these sugary sweets? Cavity Calamity is a game where you are dentists trying to keep your patients’ teeth clean and send kids with the most sugary candy to your rival at the same time. Whoever has the cleanest teeth wins. You each have 13 teeth dice that you want to keep clean. Your opponent is trying to send kids to you with Halloween candy in order to rot your teeth. Draft cards and then play them on either the Rot side or Clean side. Try to take advantage of the special abilities on the cards to rot and clean efficiently! This game is part of a thematically linked trilogy of games. In Sweet Dreams, players are adults trying to give away all their candy first on Halloween. In Trade-or-Treat, players are kids trading the candy they got from trick-or-treating. In Cavity Calamity, players are dentists cleaning the teeth of the kids after Halloween. —description from the designer
