Grecos (2004)

“Wargame for 2 or more players. Mythological Greek theme. Victory: Occupy all 6 City States on the Board.”

“Tiles are used to make the Map. Chits are used to represent Units. Cards are used for Events. Counters are stacked with units to record damage. Tile, chit, counter, and card sets are common to all players. Six sided dice are needed to play.”

The map is generated by randomly distributing the Terrain Tiles on a chess board or 8x8 grid. The Tiles come in two water varieties (Sea, Abyss) and five land varieties (Coastal, City State, Forest, Mountains, Ruins.)

Each player starts the game with one Hero unit located on a City State space. The players must recruit various heroes, men, and monsters to aid them in their conquest of Greece. The players will face random events reflecting the blessings of the Greek Gods or disasters and dangers.
