5Crests (2015)

5Crests is a hybrid card game set in an alternate history, where the discovery of a magically imbued mineral called Villium gives rise to a stronger, more centralized criminal enterprise, the First Family. The family, in their quest to control this new power, created 5 different guilds, honoring the ways of their members to provide muscle and protection against any who oppose it.

You play the role of a fast rising street lieutenant in one of these guilds trying to carve out your own slice of the American Dream. Each player constructs a deck of various allies, weapons, trade fronts, and actions. Players can build and expand their arsenal by collecting more cards and trading with their friends to get more powerful allies and tools of the trade. Then you take to the streets and fight other street lieutenants for supremacy. Each lieutenant starts with a set amount of health based on their abilities, but winning requires that you bring the opposing lieutenants health to 0. Players expand their Villium trade by playing and controlling trade fronts. As these fronts bring in Villium, players are able to bring their allies and resources into the fray to battle with their enemies. Fights can be 1 on 1 street brawls, or all out mob wars between multiple players. Those left standing will continue their quest to gain control of the first family.
