Das Hochbeet von Schalottenburg (2025)

Loud fanfares ring out through the quiet town of Schalottenburg! Vegetable athletes from all different backgrounds parade through the streets with their flags. That can only mean one thing: The annual vegetable competition is upon us! All of Schalottenburg's citizens quickly gather to cheer on their teams as they compete against each other in the earthy raised vegetable bed arena. Of course, there will be a lot of pushing and shoving again, with the aim of creating the largest possible formation of the same types of vegetables. Whoever succeeds best will lift the coveted trophy into the night sky of Schalottenburg!

Gameplay:
Take the tile in front of you and push it into the raised vegetable bed from the outside, with the vegetable side facing upwards. Then place one of your wooden markers on this tile. Take the piece you pushed out and keep it for your next turn. Continue playing until everyone has placed their last wooden marker (2 or 3 pieces).
At the end of each round mark as many fields on your scoring boards as the number of tiles with the same type of vegetable that are directly connected to each other vertically or horizontally.

Game end:
The game ends as soon as there are only 3 or fewer face-down vegetable tiles left in the raised vegetable bed. Finish the current round and then add up the points of all the vegetable teams on your scoreboards. The winner is the player with the highest score.
