Ochi was published as a game kit in an issue of Perfidious Albion; it consisted of rules, charts, and a blank map with instructions on filling it out. The 287 counters had to be made by the players.

The game covers Mussolini's invasion of Greece and Papagos' counterattack into Albania. Supply is difficult - the divisional units can only be supplied if within one hex of their division HQ. The zones of control of artillery units completely block supply lines and retreat paths, to reflect the advantage of having artillery on the heights in hilly country. Other rules around ZOCs encourage infiltration tactics.

The game lasts seven turns. Victory is based primarily on geographic objectives but the Greeks also lose points for casualties. The designer recommended switching sides and playing the game twice.
