Sandcastle Solitaire is a quick, breezy game for one player, that can be played with a standard deck of cards. Your goal is to build your sandcastle as large as possible, so it can withstand the waves when high tide comes.
Basic Turn Structure: At the start of your turn, draw anywhere from 1 to 7 cards from the deck (gather sand). After drawing cards, you must play all the cards in your hand to your castle, one at a time (improve castle). The first card must be played to a non-empty column in your castle, if one exists. Subsequent cards must played to an adjacent column to the previous card played, i.e. the column immediately to the left or right. After playing all cards in your hand, count how many columns are standing in your castle, and discard half that many cards from the deck, rounded up (tide comes in).
