A domino-stacking game for two or four players.(But also plays good with three. See Video).
Object: To score points by stacking dominoes on other dominoes with matching numbers.
You Need:
A set of double-six, double-nine, or double-twelve dominoes.
Paper and pencil to keep track of each player's score.
Players compete by laying dominoes on the table to form the beginning 4x4 base of dominoes. As the players place the dominoes they score one point for every square on a domino that they played that matches an adjacent square on another domino in play. After the base is completed, players start forming new levels to the 'ziggurat' by playing each domino so that it exactly covers two squares on the level below it. Once all available plays on the current level have been filled (and not before), the players start a new level.
The game ends when all dominoes have been played or if a new level is started with only one valid place to play. Tally the points for each player. The player with the most points wins. If there is a tie for points, then the player with the least dominoes left wins. Additional ties are shared wins.
