Part of the Star Fleet Battles Captain's Edition line.
As described by ADB, the original 2007 release of the Omega Master Rulebook contained over 320 pages (bagged, loose leaf, with a black-and-white cover) and contained every rule, chart, scenario, and ship description from the first four Omega modules; Omega tactics; updated sequence of play listing, including the entire Alpha Octant, the simulator empires, and the Lesser Magellanic Cloud; completely updated Annex #7E, Damage Conversion Chart; all ship descriptions and scenarios for the Omega Octant that were published in Captain's Log; and the "lost" history section originally written for Module Omega 4.
ADB presented this as the relaunch of the Omega Octant setting, with future Omega modules in development.
In 2011, a revised edition of the Omega Master Rulebook was released in print and on e23. With its page count brought up to 422 pages, this update integrates additional rules and R-section information (most notably those from SFB Module Omega 5), as well as scenarios and tactical primers published in issues of Captain's Log between the original 2007 edition of the OMRB and this update.
