Mechanics: Roll / Spin and Move

A spin and move game produced by the Cadbury Chocolate company in Australia.

The game sees players starting on earth and traversing a path to the moon. Along the way a number of detours can be encountered as well as things like cosmic rays, sun spots and magnetic deviations that will cause delays in reaching the moon. The winner is the first to reach the moon.

The game is similar in graphics to another space game of the 1950's called A trip to the Moon by the English chocolate company Fry's.
The promotional game was included in an Cadbury showbag from the Adelaide Royal Show in the 1950's. Showbags are a very popular and distinctive feature of Australian shows (the Australian term for fairs or carnivals) and confectionery and toy manufacturers are keen to promote products, samples and brands in their Showbags.
