The chickens may move one place following the black lines on the board. They can't go backwards. The Foxes can go in all directions ; they can jump any number of chickens, in condition that the end of that straight line there is an open place on the board, and eat the chickens he has jumped. The eaten chickens are then removed from the game. If a fox forgets a possible jump he must wait for the other to complete a jump before moving.

The game starts with 20 chickens so if the foxes eat 12 or more they have won because the chickens can't occupy the foxes' lair which contains of 9 places on the board.
