Description
Wendo is a Chess-like game that appears to be a relative of Ploy where players attempt to move their tiles across the board from a set starting position a turn at a time. As in that game, the pieces show the directions they can move, and players can move or rotate pieces. The object is to capture or check the opposing Hydra, the King / Queen piece.

Played by two players on a 7x8 square board with a bay cell on each end, and with each players controlling movement of 10 tiles. Of the 10 titles, one is a Wall, that can block movement of opposing tiles. Another is the King / Queen, which can move in any direction. All other tiles have restricted rules of movement, for example, one tile can only go forward and to the right.

In a turn, a player may either move a tile as allowed by that tile, or can rotate the square tile (by 90-270 degrees) and/or flip it over , so that in a following turn, the player can move the tile in a different direction.

The game ends when a player sucessfully surrounds the opposing King / Queen and prevents its movement.
