CTHULHU RISES!!
It's been centuries since the Cultists attempted to open a portal to bring Cthulhu into Our World. Defeated by the Mystic Council, Cthulhu cursed the Cultists and their families with lycanthropy for their failures. The Cultists have scoured the world for the ancient rituals. Now they have found them and are once again attempting to raise Cthulhu, and end their curse. Times have evolved, and now Investigators seek out those who dabble in the Arcane Forces. The Mystic Council must defeat the Cultists while not getting caught by the meddling Investigators. Take on the role of a tireless Investigator, a powerful Mystic, or a crazed Cultist. Will Cthulhu be raised?
In this game, you will take on the role of either an Investigator of the Arcane, a member of the Mystic Council pledged to protect Our World, a Cultist bent on watching the world go mad under the rule of Cthulhu, or even as Cthulhu himself ushering the group through the events of the game.
In each round, the cultists will perform their rituals, attempting to succumb players to the madness of Cthulhu. The mystic will then attempt to thwart their treacherous schemes, without getting caught. Finally, everyone will attempt to determine who the Cultists are.
