Each player, in turn spins the spinner and moves any one of the three fish the corresponding number of spaces along the trail. A player may move only one fish per turn, but may move a different fish each time. Players may move in any direction, but in only one direction per turn. Play continues with each player in turn trying to 1) hook a large "keeper" fish on his own line, OR 2) hook a small fish on an opponent's line.
To land on a hook, players must spin the exact number needed. When a fish lands on a colored hook, the player whose fishing pole matches the color of the hook must move the t fish up his pole. He does this by continuing to spin, in turn, moving the fish up the pole. Each knot on the fishing line is counted as one space. He may not move or hook another fish until the fish on his has reached the top knot and is landed. If the fish is a "keeper" the player adds it to his collection. If It is a small fish, it is discarded to the game box.
Immediately after a fish is hooked, another fish of the same size must be placed on START.
HINT: Players use strategy by hooking a small fish on an opponent's fish hook. The opponent must then utilize his turns by moving the worthless fish up his pole.

The winner is the first player to land two large "keeper" fish.
