Monster Dates (2023)

In this party game, players will take turns acting as monsters from the Monster Prom video game franchise. Each round one player will act as the "Bachelor" (or "Bachelorette" or "Bacheloraire") and will judge and score all the other players, who will be the "Romantic Interests."

The Bachelor places a Monster Card of their choosing face up. They can then introduce themselves, including an explanation of how they will judge the Romantic Interests. The Romantic Interests each choose a Monster Card and place it face down, these will be a secret until the end of the round. The Bachelor draws a Question Card and reads the first question. Each Romantic Interest then choose an Answer Card and place it face down. One by one, the Romantic Interests will reveal their answers and can elaborate a bit to try and woo the Bachelor.

The Bachelor chooses their favorite answer and the Romantic Interest who gave the winning answer scores one point. This process is repeated with the 3 questions on the question card. The round is won by whoever scored the most points. If there's a tie, the Bachelor decides who deserves the win based on their overall answers. The winner then reveals their Monster Card. The Monster Cards from the winning Romantic Interest and the Bachelor are placed together and each player scores an extra point.

The Bachelor role is passed to the next player and a new round begins. Play as many rounds as it takes for everyone to have been the Bachelor at least once. Whoever won the most points overall wins!
