Storm of Spears is a set of grand-tactical miniatures wargames rules for Greek hoplite battles of the late fifth and early fourth centuries BC. They also cover contemporary Rome, Etruria, and Carthage.

Despite the grand-tactical scope, the rules allow players to control quite a bit of tactical detail like file spacing and line depth, these being deemed critical to the tactics of the period.

Scenarios are provided for seven historical battles (all Greek), and orders of battle are provided for dozens of further battles and campaigns. The rules allow for troops based on 30, 40, or 60mm frontages.
