This booster expansion for Magic: The Gathering revisits the fairy-tale world of Eldraine (previously featured in Throne of Eldraine) in the aftermath of the New Phyrexian invasion, which devastated the five knightly courts and forced most of the human denizens of the plane to retreat to the wilds, where all manner of fairy-tale dangers await. To make matters worse, the Wicked Slumber spell that the defenders of Eldraine used to repel the Phyrexians didn't end when the invaders were routed, and it continues to spread. Meanwhile, Will and Rowan Kenrith, the heirs to the throne, are at odds with each other over how to repair the realm, and a young hero named Kellan is taking his first steps on an epic journey...
Wilds of Eldraine is sold in draft boosters, set boosters, collector boosters, and bundles. Two preconstructed commander decks, "Fae Dominion" and "Virtue and Valor", were also released alongside the main set. The set features the return of the popular Adventure mechanic from Throne of Eldraine, alongside the new mechanics of Role Tokens, Bargain, and Celebration.
