Beschreibung
Dai (or great) shogi is one of several large Shogi games that date from the Middle Ages of Japan. It is thought to be a precursor of today's standard shogi game. It is played on a 15×15 board. Each player starts the game with sixty-five pieces of twenty-nine different types. Unlike shogi, dai shogi does not permit "drops".
