The Traveling Cat Game is a board game with the goal of completing a world map from 108 tiles while moving a cat named Ricky from region to region.

Players work from an initial set of tiles that, like a puzzle, make up parts of the map. They continue to draw a tile at each turn, using the tiles to correctly build out the map, but only setting tiles in the regions where Ricky the Cat is currently visiting. Players can only move the cat to new regions based on their play. Some caution is required to ensure your tiles actually correspond with the country or land mass you intend to use them on. Knowledge of global maps or experience with puzzles is helpful.

The winner must get all their tiles onto the map first, and this is best accomplished by retaining tiles for strategic regions, passing or acting on certain opportunities, and, maintaining options to move Ricky the Cat when and where desired. After someone wins, the remaining players can continue the game to complete the global map competing with moves to use up their tiles soonest.
