From the back of the box: How do you play Going Ape? By roiling the dice and collecting fruits. Different for beginners and seasoned players, beginning players collect the same fruits but seasoned players collect every fruit. The one who collects the most fruit wins and gets a monkey in reward. The one who has the most monkeys at the end gets the main prize.
