Beschreibung
Nannon is a reduction of Backgammon to a super-quick game. Nannon reduces the basic concepts of Backgammon to the smallest feasible combination that still retains the idea of Backgammon.
For instance:
Rather than having "stacks" of men on each position, Nannon allows only one man per spot.
Since you can't "stack" men, contiguous groups of 2 or all 3 men of the same team can't be hit.
Each player has only three men, as opposed to the 15 of Backgammon.
Each player gets one die, rather than getting to use two. (Nannon makes use of the fact that each player has her own die.)
The board only has six positions, instead of 24.
Nannon does, however, still provide a doubling cube, which is rather relevant since the individual games of Nannon are so much shorter than those of Backgammon.
