Beschreibung
Woodland Wizards is a competitive card game where players assume the role of animal magicians and summon contest creatures to compete in rounds consisting of preparation, tournament, and evaluation. Each card has a value and effect that can be used to strengthen the player's own creature or weaken those of others. The winner of each round scores their summoned creature, and the player with the most points at the end of all contests wins. With no setup time, few rules, and a little bit of meanness, this game is quick to learn and fun for 2–6 players.
In Woodland Wizards you start each competition phase with 5 cards. During the preparation round, players can use their cards to improve their hand or weaken opponents. When the tournament begins, they can boost their creature with additional cards while trying to direct negative effects at other players. But beware, with great power comes great risk, and players never know when a powerful effect might backfire.
