Beschreibung
Echo of the Predator is an electronic board game (not a video game) set aboard the cargo starship Distono. Three crew members awaken from hypersleep to find themselves alerted by ADAM, the Automated Data Analysis Machine and AI autopilot of the Distono. An alien presence has somehow infiltrated the ship and is hunting the crew. Players must work together to evade the alien while searching for items needed to escape in the pod. The game board represents the control panel in the ADAM control room, featuring 121 LEDs to indicate the status of the alien and crew members.

You play as Commander Foxton Read, Science Officer Maxx Mitchell, and Doctor Lana Dawn. If one person is playing, they will control the moves and actions of all three of these characters. If three people are playing, then each of them will have control of an individual character. if two people are playing, you make the rules about how to control the third character.

The main goal of the game is to exit the ship in the escape pod, but escaping the ship isn't the only concern of the crew. Food and Water provisions must be found. A supply of coolant must be found to keep the escape pod in working order. A flight plan must also be obtained for the flight path of the escape pod. Finding a way to transmit an SOS would also be helpful. If you find these items, you will almost certainly be rescued once escaping the ship. The more items you find, the more optimistic ADAM will be about your rescue. However, there are also secret ways to end the game. Exploration will reward the players.

Several game options are available on power up. You can have unlimited time to make decisions in the game (Default), or you can choose to have a 6-second or 3-second time-frame to make movements/actions. Or choose "Original" or "Randomized" item and weapon placement. Choose between "Lights-out" or "Lights-on" mode. In "Lights-out" mode, you can only see the alien when it moves, which means that you have to really keep tabs on where the alien is. This adds suspense and a huge element of difficulty when playing the game. In "Lights-on" mode, you can see where the alien is located at all times.

This game contains blinking LED lights that may trigger seizures in individuals with photosensitive epilepsy.
