Long ago, when the Orakhee fell upon the Brethren Empire, the Gnimshka listened to the earth and it protected them. Today the great Glyptographers of the Gnimhomes teach their disciples how to inscribe the rocks of the world, releasing the Lustre within them in an art they call Petromagika. From the revered Gardeners of Achea, to the humble village Broth Apothecarys of the Painted Forest, almost every culture on Mor Nadar knows that foraging for plants, and scavenging some of the remains of animals, can yield treasure when combined with the skilled use of pestle and mortar.

Potions and Preparations is an optional expansion for the Legends Untold game system. This set unlocks new options for Heroes to gather resources during their adventures and use them to make alchemical potions and magical preparations. This expansion pack works in conjunction with the Alchemy Booster Pack (which is intended to be reprinted in the Novice Booster Set Volume II) and there are rules for updating those cards in conjunction with this set. This set introduces:

New Resource types for Alchemy – 80 new Plant and Animal Reagent cards which can be used to brew exciting Potions.
A new magic system - the ancient art of Petromagika; inscribe the 56 new Mineral Resource cards and use them to unleash the magical Lustre within.
45 new Potions and Preparations to make. Will you use the ‘Draft of Foresight’ to Divine the next 3 Adventure cards, or maybe you will place your inscribed gem inside the ‘Steel Shot’ Preparation enchanting your Crossbow bolts with lethal penetration.


A range of new options to help you build the character you want to play, specialising or dabbling as you see fit:

2 new Occupation cards; the Gnimshka Stone Scout and Persi Apothecary
New Kits and Outfits to assist you in gathering and preparing resources
6 Skill Talents to support gathering and using Herbs, Plants, Animal Reagents and Minerals.
