Beschreibung
Air Force Wargame Indo-Pacific is simple educational wargame framed around a multi-domain air centric fight in INDOPACOM. It is intended to be an introduction to Air Force Wargaming, demonstrating the basic tenets of airpower and multi-domain combat. It requires players to use strategic thinking and decision-making skills to achieve campaign objectives though the use of aircraft squadrons and a bevy of multi-domain enablers such as cyber, space, long range fires, maritime, SOF, and other assets.
The game is intended for 2-8 players (on two teams) and is designed for rapid play so that players can execute multiple Air Tasking Orders (ATOs) in a single sitting. It is a d4 based system with a simple range map and off map boxes for standoff strikes and air bases. Players each turn choose postures and select squadrons and enablers to use the fight before playing out the turn. Asymmetric hidden missions of each side dictate the scoring of victory points for different objectives, and at the end of the game the player with the most victory points wins.
