Nit de Reis (2012)

Nit de Reis is a free web-published game offered by the radio station Catalunya Ràdio for the Epiphany feast of 2012 (the traditional day in Catalonia for giving Christmas presents to children, tha day of the three Magi).

It is a push-your-luck game with just six dice. In the dice there are three kinds of presents (low-valued, mid-valued and high-valued), the Magi and coal (the typical present that the Magi give to naught children). Each player can roll the dice up to five times and after each roll he can keep as many dice as he wants. You only get points for just one kind of present and only if the Magi are present. But beware! The first time coal appears, you lose one die, and the second time, you lose everything! So it's wise not to be too greedy! The three Magi don't like greedy children!
