Beschreibung
Alien is a game of exploration in an alien environment. It is played by laying down tiles and moving on them with your soldiers. You may encounter a hostile Alien along the way.
The game includes model soldiers, wound and hatching markers, an alien counter, spaceship interior hexes, and "hole" counters.
The game is very similar to GW's Lost Patrol, but the rules are much simpler, only two pages!
Each turn you roll a die for the number of action points your trooper receives. With this, you can move, explore, and fight.
To move into a hex costs 1 action point, whereby you can explore the next hex for 2 action points--then draw a new tile and place it. Each hex is drawn is from a pile of 20.
You can also spend action points to open hatches. No more than two soldiers can be in a hex at a time.
A soldier can shoot once at the end of its move. A die is rolled to determine damage.
After all soldiers have moved, the alien gets a turn. The trick here is, that the alien can attack several times and it can move through the ventilation shaft. Each move and attack costs 1 action point.
To win the game the soldiers need to explore all spaces on the ship or kill eliminate the alien. The alien wins if it kills all the soldiers.
