Beschreibung
This is an adaptation of TSATF to cover the various skirmishes and small wars of the early 20th century up through the 1930's. Most forces are armed with bolt action rifles with smokeless powder. Native forces may still be armed with black powder, single shot breech loaders and even muzzle loaders. The fierce native charge may still occur, but machine guns rule the battlefield, and light automatic weapons and grenades are making their appearance. These rules can be easily used for skirmishes as varied as East Africa WWI, RCW, NWF 1919-1938, SCW, China Between the Wars and the Banana Wars, to name a few.
Being an adaptation of Larry Brom's The Sword and The Flame Colonial rules set, for use in more modern times, on many frontiers, from Afghanistan, to Central America. The Jackson Gamers assume that you already know how to play "TSA TF". The charts below are set up as those in the "20th Anniversary Edition" of The Sword and The Flame. A copy of those rules will be necessary as the rules below are in semi-outline form.
