While this is not meant to be the be all and end all of space combat systems, and it will most definitely not be the most complicated of them, it is and will be what we envisioned it to be oh those many years ago when we put together a one page set of rules so that we could play with our miniature toys in the kitchen and in the garage on the weekends.
