A historically inspired game allowing players to engage in one on one gladiatorial combats in the arena. It is a dynamic back and forth duel as the player’s miniatures move around the arena.
Each gladiator type will have their own information sheet, on which players record injuries and fatigue, and track such things as favour (and disfavour!) from the crowd depending on how well they are pleasing the paying public!
Each turn players will throw 6 action dice which determines what they can do this turn - such as move, attack and defend themselves.
To be successful the player will need to carefully balance the need to be aggressive to please the crowd, and deal with their own reducing abilities as fatigue and injuries take their toll.
The game is played on a hex grid which greatly speeds movement and adds to the dynamic free-flowing play.
