L'Alpinista (2020)

L’Alpinista is a re-edition of a rare nineteenth-century game.
It reproduces the fascinating world of mountaineering: a sport that, in addition to healthy competition, has solidarity, help and friendship among its founding values.

Cross the Alps and complete a journey full of challenges and unexpected events.

What makes this splendid board game unique is the structure of the three boards.
Each board is cut following the outline of the mountains. Once assembled vertically, they will form the mountain range where the mountaineering players will move.

This modern edition of the game has kept the graphics and structure of the ancient edition almost identical, thus preserving the beauty of the original illustrations. The details and the nineteenth-century style allow players to immerse themselves in a romantic atmosphere, bringing them back to the era of the origins of mountaineering.
The rules of the game, on the other hand, have been revisited and are introduced by a story, with the aim of making the game not only fun but also educational.

It is a kind of goose game with 80 stages.
At each stage the player can be favored or penalized by the rules of the game: she/he can stop, proceed or even retreat.
