Beschreibung
A Slovak card game for 3-7 players, which is played with a special set of 117 cards, with images inspired by folk ambience and traditional clothing.
Zubatá is played with a deck of 117 cards - 100 cards in four colors, numbered 1-9, with 25 different symbols and two different genders; 16 'aces,' and 1 'Zubatá.' Players are dealt an initial hand of cards, number twelve less the total number of players, and take turns playing one or more cards to either the center stack (the only option at first) or "houses" that players may open throughout the game.
Players must play cards whose number is within one of the card atop the stack; playing a card whose number does not match requires the player to draw a card, while matching the number no draw is required, and matching both number and symbol allows the player to open a house.
Aces allow a player to reverse play order, skip a play, force another player to draw 2, or swap hands with a targeted player, and can be played at any time; however, if they do not match the color of the stack on which they are played, the player must draw a replacement.
The object of the game is to play all of one's cards; alternatively, play ends immediately when any player plays the "Zubatá" card, and the player with the fewest cards remaining in their hand wins. In both cases, the sum total of all other player's hands is their score.
