Korowai: A Tribal Survival Game (2020)

The Korowai are a real ancient tribe that has lived in West Papua for centuries. Isolated from modern world, they live their life using primitive tools and method. Hunting wild boars, fishing and eat sago as their main food source. They build their house at the top of the trees to avoid wild beasts in the night. Korowai also believe in spirits and God, so they have festival, myths, and folktales that honor around their Gods.

Korowai: A Tribal Survival Game is a game about survival and adventure of Korowai tribesman. Player will become a tribesman that will hunt, farm, and logging for the live of their tribe. While they must avoid any danger, wild beast, hazards, or any catastrophic event they encounter.

Korowai is a push your luck game in its essence. While adventuring, players will open a card in adventure deck. Then, simultaneously player must decide to play their top card deck, their hand, or pass. There is some good cards and bad cards in their deck depending on the adventure card they encounter in that round. After 9 to 12 adventure cards, player will be back to their village. In the village player must eat their hunts, build their house, gain a new skill, and participate in the festival.

Player who have the most Experience Points, will become the next chieftain of the village and wins the game.
