Beschreibung
Who is the Master of Sudoku? 2 to 4 players can compete for this title. Of course there are puzzles for adults (100 pieces) on 9x9 fields. But children have also been thought of; they play on 6x6 fields on the back of the game board (50 puzzles). After a puzzle has been chosen, you place the starting lineup with the corresponding chips on the game board. From now on you reveal chips and try to fit them into the game board. There must be no contradiction to the Sudoku rules; i.e. no number appears twice in a row, column or square. But you can't ponder endlessly, the hourglass runs relentlessly.
When placing the chips, make sure that the marking is facing you. This is the only way to determine at the end who placed which chips. Naturally, the chips are not very clear in up to 5 orientations; it is best to look at the colors instead of the numbers.
There is a reward for whoever was able to place the most valuable chips in a complete (!) row/column/square. That's exactly the crux of the matter: Due to the placement rules, a complete Sudoku can never be created, and complete rows/columns/squares are also the exception. I advocate for the highest sum in an area, regardless of whether it is ultimately completed or not.
Alternatively, you can also play solo with Sudoku Master, but this is often difficult due to the lack of note-taking options.
Furthermore, two variants have been included that turn Sudoku into a game of chance: One is Sudoku-Lucky Number, the other is Sudoku-Dragon. In Sudoku-Lucky Number, all the number chips are distributed on the game board and you turn one chip over. If he doesn't contradict any Sudoku rules, he can stay put. However, if there is a contradiction, you have to accept it. In the end, whoever's chips have the lowest total wins. A similar process can be found in Challenge Sudoku, but it is solved better there: chips that have already been taken can be installed later in appropriate places. This means that some of the luck is lost, as anyone who uncovers more high numbers (and has to take them) has no chance of winning in Sudoku Master.
Sudoku Dragon is the worst thing I've ever encountered: you choose a puzzle and give it a clue. Again you have time until the hourglass runs through once. During this time you reveal chips that you must immediately put on the game board. For every chip already lying on a vertically, horizontally or diagonally adjacent field there is a winning chip - so up to 8 pieces at once. It's no surprise that the 27 chips are quickly gone. From this point on you take chips away from your opponents. Counting the chips takes up most of the time and doesn't allow the game to flow.
