Deep in the forests at the heart of Mysterra, a once sparkling lake has deteriorated into a swampy bog. Many years ago, an evil witch stole 5 magic gems from the Queen, only to lose them in the lake’s depths as she made her escape. Over time, the witch’s magic has seeped into the waters, contaminating them with her evil. Gnomes, long known as the Keepers of the Forest, seek to return the waters to their former glory. To do so, they must enlist the help of the fairies, building mushroom huts for them to live in. In return, the fairies will use their magic to find the gems and save the lake, restoring beauty to the forest once again. Will you be able to eliminate the quagmire and earn the Queen’s favor?

The Quagmires of Mysterra is a 1-4 player game of shifting strategies and sinking maps, involving dice, lily pads, and mushrooms! Puzzle your way through an ever-changing swamp as you beat your opponents to attract the most fairies. Only with their magic can you collect the sacred gems and restore the lake to its former beauty, earning favor with the Queen at last.

On a player's turn, they must match their available Wishing Dice with an action card in their hand. Once a card has been used, it is no longer available to play (until all discarded cards are returned to their hand via the Rest action). Then, the player re-rolls their dice to prepare for their next turn.

Actions include:

Exploring the map
Collecting resources
Building a mushroom fairy hut
Buying tools and upgrades from the market to build their engine and enhance future turns
Applying bonus fairy magic
Mirroring another player's top card
Resting to reset your hand


Points are scored for various accomplishments during the game. When the final gem has been found, all players finish the current round and end-game scoring begins. Whoever has the most points wins!
