Beschreibung
A co-op survival dice game where the players take on the role of Ancestor spirits, who are guiding their living Descendants to the summit of a mountain. The tribe is making this pilgrimage to remember the Ancestors - and if the Descendants fail in their journey, the Ancestors will be forgotten for all eternity! The Ancestors must work together to help the tribe survive. The players win the game together if they manage to bring at least two Descendants to the mountaintop alive. Any fewer than that, and the players all lose.
The game is played in rounds (5 to 20 max) which represent "days" of travel. (Increasing duration increases game difficulty.) Each morning, the Shaman of the tribe rolls dice to interpret an Omen: resources that day will be Safe (neutral), Blessed (collect +1), or Cursed. Taking cursed items will result in additional Danger for the Descendant who disobeyed the Omen!
Randomized terrain cards provide opportunities to forage for various resources - food, medicine, firewood, and crystals for banishing hostile evil spirits. The Ancestors decide how best to match Descendants' skills to the resources available in any given location. The more lucrative places also contain the greatest likelihood for danger! A player rolls once for each Descendant who forages during the day.
Each player's role gives them a special power to intervene on behalf of the Descendants. Some banish evil spirits, heal Descendants, ward off sickness, or other helpful skills.
