Legenden des Schwertes ("Legends of the Sword") is a strategy board game for 2-4 players at the age of 12+.

Each player takes control of a samurai family that competes for the title of the new Shogun. Players must manage their province, villages and build castles, recruit units and complete missions.

The game is aimed at all strategy fans who love the setting up and managing of a little kingdom. The uniqueness of the game is that the players are able to gain victory over a lot of different strategies and every match is unique. There will never be a game that is similar to a previous one! In addition, the game offers an exciting battle system in which players must tactically operate and not just roll dice.

Game description:

Legenden des Schwertes is a round based strategy game. At the start of the game, every player gets a set of mission cards and event cards. The mission cards are required to get victory points. The event cards can be used to manipulate combat between armies. The game is played in clockwise direction and every player has one turn per round.

The player's turn consists of five steps:
1. Receive income
2. Built and convert buildings
3. Hire units
4. Move and fight with your armies
5. End your turn and get victory points for completed missions cards

The game ends if a player has twelve or more victory points.
