Beschreibung
A traditional card game where the aim of the game is to score the minimum score possible over 11 rounds of play.
using 2 standard decks of cards shuffled together, each player is dealt a number of cards depending on the round, starting with 3 cards, then 4, 5, 6 etc until the players have 13 cards in hand for the final round.
Players attempt to "go out" by playing their cards out of their hand following the rules for each round, all other players add up the scores of their cards in hand in a running total. After 11 rounds, the player with the lowest score wins. As an extra, you can score individual points for who went out each round as a bonus competition.
Cards are scored based on their number, with face cards counting as 10 points, and aces as 25
Aces are wild cards, additionally, for each round, the card matching the number of cards in hand for that round (so, 3 in the first round, then 4, 5, 6 etc) is also wild (up to J, Q, K)
Jokers can be used additionally as wild cards, and also score 25 points if left in hand when someone goes out
On a player turn, they may draw a card from the face down draw pile, or lay any number of allowed hands to the table
When a player goes out, all other players have one final chance to play any cards from hand that they can before assessing the score of cards left in hand.
Players play their own melds to the table in front of them and can extend those in any combination as part of playing hands to the table (usually this is done as a final turn to shed cards in hand). E.g. in the round of 9 cards, if you'd earlier played a 3 of a kind and a run of 3, you could later on play another 3 of a kind to finish, OR you could for example put 1 card on the 3 of a kind to make it a 4 of a kind, and another 2 cards on the run to make it a 5 card run.
The rules for playing cards out of hand are as follows:
Round, Cards in hand to start, wild cards, allowed plays
1,3,A+3+(Joker), 3 of a kind (3K), or 3 card run flush (3R)
2,4,A+4+(Joker), 4K or 4R
3,5,A+5+(Joker), 5K or 5R
4,6,A+6+(Joker), 6K or 6R or mix of 3R, 3K
5,7,A+7+(Joker), 7K or 7R, or a mix of 3R,3K,4R,4K
6,8,A+8+(Joker), 8K or 8R, or a mix of 3,4,5 card run or set
7,9,A+9+(Joker), 9K or 9R, or a mix of 3,4,5,6 card run or set
8,10,A+10+(Joker), 10K or 10R, or mix of 3,4,5,6,7 card hands
9,11,A+J+(Joker), 11K or 11R, or mix of 3,4,5,6,7,8 card hands
10,12,A+Q+(Joker), 10K or 10R, or mix of 3,4,5,6,7,9 card hands
