Beschreibung
Hyde & Peek is a game about two rival squirrels preparing for winter. As Hyde gathers acorns and Peek collects pinecones, they turn their seasonal food collection into a friendly competition.
The gameplay centers around a memory-testing tile placement system where two players compete by strategically placing, moving, and flipping tiles (or a combination of the latter two) on the game area. A special lock token adds another layer of strategy as players must think carefully about which tiles to protect. Players take turns manipulating the tiles on the board, always trying to reveal more of their preferred food type while potentially hiding their opponent's.
The goal is straightforward: be the first squirrel to display five of your food symbols (either acorns or pinecones) on the game area to secure your winter supply and win the game. This creates an engaging balance of tactical placement and memory as players work to achieve their winning condition while preventing their opponent from doing the same.
